Awkwafina

Awkwafina began as an American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with issues such as racial and sexual identities with a funny twist. Before expanding to Hollywood, she was able to perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop training began as she was just a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. After graduation, she begin to concentrate on music. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. The track was later included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also contained popular hits that went viral, such as body positive Queef or the winking city tour the city of New York Bitche$. The track that was second on the album linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was a different project. In addition to having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional as a performer. She's appeared in movies including Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, her breakout roles included Dude Ocean's 8 along with Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, In Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
