Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. She received with the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress in The Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. French, German English fluently. Her mother played the violin The father of her is a professor of theater at one of Romania's top drama schools. In the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. She was selected as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. Anamaria Marinca - an actress who is of Romanian origin began her career as an actor on screen in Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV movie for which Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. The debut film of the actress, Sex Traffic, won the award of British Academy Television for Best Actress. She also was awarded numerous awards for her role in 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. In 2007, her performance on Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 luni 3 semaines si 2 days (4 months 3 weeks and two days), won both the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two other awards, the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Also, she was in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca portrayed Yasim in BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy. Marinca was a guest on The Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. Then she was the role of Irma's German aunt in Fury that was released in the year 2014.
