
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She is co-anchor for CNBC's programs 'Squawk On the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. Although she's an Ohioan, she wasn't interested in the world of markets or currency during the time she was in college. While attending New York University, she was a part-time intern at a start-up website named ForexTV.com. It was here that she received the first experience of business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. Then, she completed a four-month job at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. When she returned to the US in the fall, she was able to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC employed her in December 2013 to be a reporter. Before she was hired as a correspondent on "Closing Bell and 'Closing Bell', she was co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. Her main area of focus since her arrival at CNBC is global consumer news.
